The Makeup Artist Academy will throw open the doors of our brand new Academy space on Thursday 16th March. Drop in anytime between 6.30 – 8.30pm for a celebratory glass of sparkling, and some nibbles – we’d love to meet you and show you around.
Start your journey into the world of professional makeup artistry
We believe that the art of professional makeup can be learnt by anyone, all it takes is having the right person to guide you on your creative journey.
The Academy provides students with in-depth training, and imparts all the skills and techniques required to establish a makeup career. All of our students are closely guided throughout the course to ensure they perfect the makeup application techniques, and only the best M.A.C Pro academy makeup products are used throughout the training - for practical hands-on learning.
Our course attendees will receive an Accreditation Certificate from The Makeup Artist Academy, as well as a complimentary professional brush set to help our graduates get started.
The Academy offers private lessons along with group lessons and workshops, and we have a maximum of only eight students in any group class to ensure that each individual receives the necessary attention and one-to-one focus from our educators.
Whether you are just starting your journey into the world of professional beauty service or you currently have skills in another area of the industry, we have a wide variety of courses to suit.
The current course dates for The Makeup Artist Academy:
Professional Makeup Course (8 weeks)
Jam packed with all the essential fundamentals to get your makeup career started. This course will not only teach you, but leave you confident in your techniques and application of makeup to recreate any of the current trends in the market place.

Commences: Tuesday 4th April
Time: 6.30 to 9.30pm, 1 evening per week
Essentials Course (4 weeks)
Designed to perfect your skills in makeup and build on your ability to apply attention to detail. This course offers hands on practical makeup sessions and theory that will help you understand all the essentials required and the concepts for professional makeup application.

Commences: Thursday 30th March
Time: 6.30 to 9.30pm, 1 evening per week
High Fashion Makeup Course (8 weeks)
Upscale your skills and adapt to working on photo shoots.
This course teaches you the fundamentals for corrective makeup, camouflage and lighting. Covers high fashion, catwalk and photographic makeup looks.
